A group of famous actresses have teamed up with the Center for Reproductive Rights in the US to shoot a moving video series called “Draw The Line,” dealing with abortion access in America.

Each video in the series features a famous woman like Elizabeth Banks, Dascha Polanco and Bellamy Young performing monologues that were written and submitted by real women across the United States. Each monologue tells the complicated tale about why the authors needed to end their pregnancy.

The videos are simple and short, yet unbelievably powerful.

Elizabeth Banks’ channels Rebecca, a college freshman who just escaped from an abusive relationship, only to discover that her birth control failed and she was pregnant with his child.

Orange Is The New Black’s Dascha Polanco speaks for Kayleigh, a young woman weighing the heavy pros and cons of her unexpected pregnancy. She came to the realization that she wanted an abortion because she couldn’t provide the care and attention that a child deserves.

Scandal’s Bellamy Young provides a voice for Faith, a nurse and mother with epilepsy. She got an abortion because her unplanned pregnancy caused both risks to her health and her job.

The series features equally impactful videos by Fear The Walking Dead’s Mercedes Mason, Comedian Retta, House of Lies‘ Mary McCormack and former NYPD Blue star Amy Brenneman.

The series kicked off with Girls star Jemima Kirke sharing the story of her own abortion.

You can watch all of the powerful videos at the Center for Reproductive Rights’ YouTube account.
