Robert Pattinson: serious actor, former teen heartthrob, floppy-haired Brit and ... frequenter of Maritime adult shops? No this isn’t some salacious gossip we heard through the grapevine, we heard it straight from the horse’s mouth! Tuesday night, the tall Twilight star stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to chat about his new film The Lighthouse, and the chit-chat about the filming experience went from zero to one hundred real quick.Meyers first broached the topic by asking, "Two months in Nova Scotia?" (Woohoo! Shout out to the East Coast!), to which Robert replied they spent those months in Cape Forchu and Yarmouth (Woohoo! Shout out to small Maritime fishing villages!).Then Seth then asked how R-Patz passed the time for two months in those small villages that are the backbone of the Canadian fishing industry, and Robert replied, “There were two pretty highly-frequented sex shops.”Woo hoo! Shout out to… *record scratch* hold up.He went on, “I used to pass the time by looking at Yelp reviews, and so many people used to write these Yelp reviews, and this is a town of maybe 400 people.” Allegedly, a lot of the reviews Robert found have since been taken down, but apparently they were pretty lengthy back when he was looking for time-wasting activities.Fifty Shades of Twilight, anyone?
Seth tried to move the conversation back to the wholesome topic of our beloved East Coast Maritimers by asking what kind of fishing gear one might be able to buy there, to which Robert replied with a cheeky grin, “In the sex shop?” C'mon now, Robby, stop that. Now, good luck not thinking of what R-Patz was doing in his downtime when you get around to seeing The Lighthouse.[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Robert Pattinson takes his TIFF partying very seriously[/video_embed]
