We all love us some Tom Hiddleston. He’s plays a heck of a super villain as Loki in all of the Marvel movies, and has been excellent in War Horse, Midnight In Paris and so many other films. But let’s be honest here. He really needs to work on his DeNiro impression. Especially when he busts it out in front of the man himself.
On Friday night, Hiddleston appeared on The Graham Norton Show along side DeNiro, Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor. After being egged on by Norton, an extra nervous looking Hiddleston did his best DeNiro impersonation by mimicking the classic restaurant scene from 1995’s Heat. He did not nail it.
Hiddleston’s DeNiro consisted of an extra long pouty frown and a pretty awful New York tough guy accent. It was terrible.
Although the impersonation wasn’t great, it was still sweet and charming (cause what else could it be when it’s Hiddleston?), and DeNiro seemed to enjoy it.
We gotta hand it to Hiddleston though, he does do a spot-on Owen Wilson!
