Tyrion Lannister is pretty darn excited to have survived five seasons in Westeros and he’s not afraid to brag about it. He’s so happy to be alive that’s he’s teamed up with one of the biggest bands on the planet to sing a song about it…in the name of charity.

In honour of the upcoming comedy themed anti-poverty telethon Red Nose Day, television’s best little man Peter Dinklage paired up with Brit soft-rockers Coldplay for an extra special Game of Thrones ditty and video to accompany it. The hilarious song pays tribute to all of the show’s characters who have died bloody horrible deaths over the past five years.

Coldplay wrote the song for Dinklage, who croons the spoiler-filled lyrics in the video as Tyrion Lannister, in a sensually baritone voice. He’s even accompanied by back-up singers and brass instruments. It’s amazing!

The passionate lyrics include lines like “Baby you know I’m the man for all seasons. Characters get cut for various reasons. Some people’s parts just ain’t very long. But not me, I’m still going strong!”

He touches on major characters like Ned Stark saying he was “a lot of fun, but didn’t make it past season one,” and how Robert Baratheon was “part of that crew, but never made it to season two.” Oh Tyrion.

Watch a clip of Peter Dinklage performing the Games of Thrones: The Musical below. The entire video will air on Red Nose Day May 21st.

the Red Nose Day three-hour entertainment TV special airs May 21 at 8PM ET on NBC.
