Vanessa Hudgens is one incredible and strong person. Just one day after losing her father to cancer, the actress still performed as Rizzo in Grease: Live Sunday night, and totally stole the show.

Sunday morning, Hudgens tweeted that her father Greg had passed away the night before after battling stage 4 cancer.

She followed it up with another tweet that said she was dedicating her performance in the highly anticipated live TV special to her dad.

And she certainly did him proud. Vanessa’s singing and dancing stood out as the highlight of the show, especially her memorable performance of the Grease classic “There Are Worse Things I Could Do.”

Twitter was buzzing during and after the show, with fellow celebs praising the 27-year-old star’s performance and bravery.
