Here’s something you probably didn’t know about yourself: you could sit and watch someone hand-draw famous fonts and logos for hours. We didn’t believe it either until we stumbled upon Seb Lester’s Instagram account, so bear with us. The fact is, the calligrapher himself didn’t even realize what he had created. He’s just drawing, which is what he enjoys doing, but it’s actually a speech-free version of ASMR. Each video is a simple visual that creates an unusually satisfying response, similar to how children like this soft-spoken lady’s YouTube channel or how other people enjoy cyst popping videos. Don’t believe us? Here we go:

For the Game of Thrones title, you are waiting for him to screw up but he doesn’t. He pulls it off.

Same goes for the Lord of the Rings title. Will he screw it up? Ahhhh, must keep watching.

Now, Harry Potter is a challenging one, what with the lightning bolt and all. And yet…

Now, for Star Wars he gets a little sloppy, but it’s no less impressive.

But he’s back in fine form with this tricky The Hobbit font.

Then Seb gets into his logo period, which began with the iconic Nike swoosh.

More doodling.

And then he started to play with colour for this ESPN logo. And it was good.

You use this every day, so it’s no surprise that Seb nailed it.

It’s no old school adidas logo, but it’ll do just fine.

We’ve falled into this design gap and we are loving it.
