MasterChef Canada is back and ready to fire up the grills for its season 6, two-hour premiere (Monday April 8th at 8p ET on CTV).
This season the show features 18 home cooks who were specially chosen by the judges with personal invitations delivered via courier. Among these home cooks are an international figure skater, a car salesman and an entrepreneur all competing for the $100,000 cash prize and the title of next Canadian MasterChef.
MasterChef Canada turns up the heat and brings together chefs from all different flavours of life to showcase their culinary influences and multiculturalism in a national competition. Tasked with tasty challenges in each episode, the chefs use fresh, Canadian ingredients to complete each plate within the given time in hopes they make the cut for the next round.
Judges Michael Bonacini, Claudio Aprile, and Alvin Leung join the ranks again in judging the chefs creations. With only a limited amount of white aprons the chefs must bring the heat in order to impress these seasoned culinary experts.
Ahead of the season 6 premiere, all three judges returned to The Social to chat about the upcoming season and we challenged them to a quick game of Never Have I Ever. Watch it all go down in the video clip above.
What is sure to be a spicy season, viewers can stream missed episodes and highlights on CTV.ca and the CTV app. The show airs for 12 episodes starting with a special two-hour season premiere Monday, April 8 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV and then at 9 p.m. ET every Monday after that.
