Now that the second season of The Masked Singer (Wednesdays, 8 p.m. ET on CTV) is in full swing and two celebs have been unmasked, we jumped right back into it this week with two more epic showdowns: Black Widow versus Leopard and Panda versus Flamingo. And what a group of performances they were. Not only are the clues harder this year, but it feels like the celebs the Powers That Be recruited are even bigger than they were in the first season—we don’t want to send any of these heavyweights home. Thankfully, our burning need to find out who is under each mask outweighs that sympathy.[caption id="attachment_4522721" align="alignleft" width="960"] Michael Becker/FOX[/caption]Speaking of heavyweights, we totally should have figured out Panda’s identity based on her clue package. She spoke of matches, cooking, her Papa Bear and his humble strength, which in hindsight all added up to Muhammad Ali’s daughter, Laila Ali. She is “lovable but fierce” indeed, and if you ask us she proved that by coming out and performing Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” to a very enthusiastic crowd. At one point she even had the judges convinced she was a comedian—that’s how fun her performance was.Unfortunately, as we know from the fact that her identity was revealed, she won’t stay on to perform again. She lost out to the regal Leopard in the Smackdown, despite a super fun rendition of “All I Do is Win,” when the audience decided Leopard’s version of “Respect” was the better performance. So that leaves us with three more celebs to figure out in the coming weeks:

Black Widow

The clues: She hides in plain sight and has lived in the public eye, and she also has an empire. It seems as though she is an actress, there was a peach hanging in the background, and there was a reference to living in her house. The performance: When Black Widow belted out “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and bopped around the stage so expertly in that costume we knew she was a professional singer. How could she not be? The judges seemed to agree.Guesses: The judges went for Amber Riley, Yvette Nicole Brown and Sherri Shephard, but we’ve got an inkling Raven-Symoné should be in that equation.

Flamingo

The clues: Whoever this pretty lady in pink is, she has some connection to YouTube where she shares fashion and beauty advice. She says she picked the flamingo because it represents new beginnings, and that she knows what it feels like to be trapped in your own career. Now, she’s here take back control of her “destiny.”The performance: Flamingo proved she’s also got a performing background with her iteration of “Sucker,” and the judges were very much there for it. (So were we.) She left us with one parting clue, “I’m sassy but flamingos are a symbol of a luxurious vacation. So I, your friend, I am an escape.”Guesses: The judges were all over the place with this one, guessing everyone from Olivia Jade and Kandi Burruss to Tia Mowry. We—and basically the entire internet—are holding out hope that it’s Adrienne Bailon though.

The Leopard

The clues: The Leopard claims to be a heavy hitter and was once at the top, but now all anyone ever wants to talk about is the celebrity aspect of it all—what he’s wearing and who he’s dating. There may be a French reference in there as well, as “J’Adore” was written in the background. The performance: This one blew the judges away when the celeb belted out “Somebody to Love” and revealed himself to be a male. A “fierce and divine” male, at that.Guesses: We can get behind the judges’ guess that Billy Porter may be under there, but we’re not so sure about their Robbie Williams or Jamie Foxx guesses. We also have strong inklings for RuPaul.Unfortunately it’s going to be a while before we get any answers. Next week we’ve got four new four celebs and performances to dissect, but trust us when we say we’ll be racking our brains until then. The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CTV.
