The most adorable example of father-daughter bonding we found today involves a love of dinosaurs and a heck of a lot of Lego!
Film editor and animation director Paul Hollingsworth teamed up with his eight-year-old daughter Hailee to turn their passion for Lego into an opportunity to recreate Steven Spielberg’s 1993 film classic Jurassic Park. The father-daughter duo decided to remake their favourite scenes from the popular ’90s dino movie into a stop motion short. And the result is pretty incredible.
Hailee (aka “BrickGrrl”), who loves to review the Lego play sets she builds with her dad on YouTube, worked with him and a few assistants to create a short remake of the film, complete with music and voice-overs. We dare you not to be impressed.
Although Jurrasic Park was released years before young Hailee was born, she expresses how cool she thinks the movie is in an additional making-of video…you know, despite having some pretty spooky and hungry dinosaurs.
Both their Jurassic Park stop motion remake and the behind the scenes video that goes along with it are cute and definitely worth a watch!
