No matter where you stand on the Kardashians, it’s safe to say almost all of us agree Kim Kardashian‘s recent robbery in Paris was awful. We wouldn’t wish being bound, gagged, locked in a bathroom and fearful for your life upon anyone.

We say that we can “almost” all agree for a reason: apparently Costumeish thinks the whole thing was funny enough to warrant a parody Halloween costume, and it’s leaving us with an icky feeling. The Halloween retailer has been known for some awful costumes before (think a crack-smoking Rob Ford, Caitlyn Jenner or that guy who killed Cecil the Lion), but this one pretty much takes the cake.

The Kim Kardashian Paris robbery costume comes with a short housecoat, long black wig, sunglasses, a blinged-out ring, a gag and binds, all for the U.S. retail price of $69.99. Obviously the costume invoked something of a riot on social media and even on the site’s own comments section, with people protesting the very idea that a company would sell a costume based on an assault.

At first the site’s founder Johnathan Weeks, told TMZ that he expected some backlash but that pop culture parodies are an important part of Halloween. The site also told Fox411 just yesterday that it had no intention of taking the costume down and that it was selling well.

Today it looks as though the company is eating its own words, since the costume has finally been pulled and all SIX people who actually bought the costume will receive full refunds. Yup, selling well apparently means six sales, total. According to TMZ, Weeks said the backlash just kept coming in and by yesterday afternoon it was clear that he had to pull the thing from shelves. It’s the first time a costume has sparked enough outrage for the company to do so.

We didn’t notice an apology, mind you.

For her part, Kim has remained pretty quiet about the whole thing, as we’d expect someone who was held up by five guys dressed as police officers with guns to be. Yesterday her sister, Khloe went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed that Kim “isn’t doing so well,” but that the family is close and they’ll get through it together.

“We do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her,” Khloe said.

Agreed. And thank goodness those who were looking to profit from it have finally smartened up.
