We hope you’ve been feeling a little spontaneous lately.
WestJet is now offering direct flights for under $300 to London’s Gatwick airport from six major Canadian cities — but only if you book before they sell out (which, according to a WestJet spokesperson, will likely happen today). That means you should probably stop thinking and start spending, because you could already have your next summer vacation planned by the end of this article.
The deal applies to select airports in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and St. John’s, and you have to travel between May 6 to June 18 to get the reduced prices. So if you’ve always wanted to see London, now’s your chance.
After all, this is pretty much summer travel at its cheapest.
If you really had your heart set on travelling just a little bit later in the season though, don’t worry. The airline is also offering reduced fares from June 29 to August 10 (you still have to book them ASAP, and those flights go for about $50 extra), so there’s still hope.
For those living in Winnipeg, this should be seen as an especially large treat, since this would be the city’s only non-stop service to the UK, according to WestJet. And just in case you’re confused, all the fares we’ve mentioned so far are one-way.
So what are you waiting for? Double-decker buses and The Queen await! You can check out the deal on WestJet’s website right here.
Just remember: Keep calm and travel on.
