Fergie is Fergalicious, sure, but what that means has changed for 2015.
In the past, the former Black Eyed Peas singer opted for a, dare we say, more severe look, but she’s swapped her plumpers and cat eyes for a card to the hot mom club. It’s a natural look that’s really working for her.
At least, that’s the impression we’re getting from her recent cover and spread for Allure magazine, where she’s wearing a white jumpsuit, a languid zebra-print summer dress and an outfit that evokes the look and feel of a French New Wave train conductor.
It’s a far cry from the streetwear she’s known for – it’s evocative, mature, and mom-friendly, if your look is New York City gallerist-mom or Los Angeles power broker-mom.
That said, she’s looking hot and it’s not without work. She tells Allure, “My problem is my discipline. I see a Jack in the Box or a Del Taco, and I will impulsively want it. I’m a work in progress in that area.”
And as for what that work entails? She says it’s not surgery: “I heard about some ridiculous amount of money that I spent on my face, which I think is absolutely insane.”
In fact, her stately brows are said to be from using Latisse, a drug that induces eyebrow growth, and her breasts are natural, too. Fergie says, “Oh, people have wondered everything about me. I just tell them to go look at my mother and sister.”
Whether you’re a denier or a supporter, one thing is certain: Fergie looks different. Classier, even.
