This week’s Crave list of recommendations for the weekend features a modern Christmas classic, a pop-culture commentary show that's got everyone talking and a gripping doc on John DeLorean featuring Alec Baldwin. The Shop: UninterruptedNBA superstar LeBron James’ unscripted, roundtable podcast-like series can best be described as real talks in a barbershop. With his business partner Maverick Carter, James curates lively pop-culture discussions, featuring opinions from some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. For anyone who enjoys timely commentary and inside sports knowledge, The Shop is a can't-miss, with snippets from the series often making entertainment headlines. Love ActuallyYou know it, you love it. The movie follows 10 couples as they navigate the minefield that is dating in London at Christmastime, featuring a stellar soundtrack—and so many turtlenecks. The 2003 modern holiday classic is also jam-packed with A-listers Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Emma Thompson and Keira Knightley. You can even spot a pre-Mad Men January Jones in a small role if you watch closely. Stream this Christmas staple along with other great holiday films on Crave’s Holiday Collection all month long.
Hidden Gem: Framing John DeLoreanFraming John DeLorean is one part documentary, one part dramatic re-enactment and altogether a wild and true story of the visionary who revolutionized the automobile industry. From his early work at General Motors, to establishing the DeLorean Motor Company to his eventual cocaine trafficking charges, the film follows the rise and fall of a unique and flawed genius. John DeLorean’s life was too surreal to be limited by a traditional documentary and so directors Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce cast Alec Baldwin to re-enact key moments in DeLorean’s life, adding a welcomed layer of entertainment to this doc that's now streaming on Crave.
