Are you still watching Wheel of Fortune? Because you should be. A contestant on Tuesday night’s show had victory in his grasp when his attempt to solve the name of Tennessee Williams‘ classic play A Streetcar Named Desire turned B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Kevin was only one letter away from guessing the correct answer and with A STREETCAR NA_ED DESIRE on the board, it should’ve been a given. Should’ve.

Because Kevin asked for a K. With kon—, er, confidence, we might add. Aw, Kev. Even host Pat Sajak couldn’t believe it.

Kevin clearly isn’t a fan of Williams (or The Simpsons) and must’ve just ran through the alphabet. Unfortunately for him, K comes before M. Perhaps this was his Wheel of (mis)Fortune inspo:

The next contestant, Lisa, who had pretty much thrown in the towel up until that point, pounced on Kevin’s mistake and swooped in like a jungle kat for the win. But even Sajak preferred Kevin’s answer, telling Lisa, “And although you got the right answer, I’d rather see Kevin’s play.” Yes, A Streetcar Naked Desire would be quite riveting.

Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be for Kev but he’ll at least have eternal infamy for yet another Wheel of Fortune fail, and making people’s day on social media.

Kevin’s answer was sad but no one’s worse than this dude, whose multiple fails will forever be remembered.
