If you were to hazard a guess, who would you say is the most powerful Canadian on the Internet superhighway? If you said Justin Trudeau, you’re wrong. At least for now.
Twitter Canada has started a round robin-style tourney called Canada’s Most Valuable Tweeter, and while Justin “APEC Hottie” Trudeau is in the running, he has a ways to go before getting the title. Here are the original 16:
Basically, you help decide who moves forward by voting in a poll. Voting began Monday, so there’s still time to get your votes in. It’s already moved to the second round (the final eight), so here’s what you need to know about the final four pairings:
1. P.K. Subban vs. Justin Bieber
Both are killing it in their respective fields, but what is more valuable to you? Hockey or music? Vote here.
2. Ryan Reynolds vs. Shawn Mendes
Into new dad/Deadpool making weird mom jokes, or a teen who looks back on Blackberry fondly? Vote here.
3. Justin Trudeau vs. The Weeknd
The Prime Minister is working to build equality, while the Weeknd can’t feel his face when he’s with you. So vote here.
4. Norm Kelly vs. Bob McKenzie
It’s not clear whether Norm does anything but social media these days. But he’s got the lead on followers alone, so if you’re into sports, vote for Bob here.
