As much as we all like to complain about Donald Trump (which is a lot), he’s not going to be president forever. Trust us, they have laws against it. So when his term is up in about three years and six months (but who’s counting?) who’s going to be the new HAIC (Head American In Charge)?

Since Trump proved that literally anyone can be president, it looks like lots of other celebrities with no previous experience in politics are considering trying their hand at the highest seat in the land. And if that makes you nervous, that just means your brain is working properly.

Granted, Trump isn’t the first celebrity to run for office and win. Ronald Reagan was a successful Clint Eastwood-esque actor before he ran for president. Plus, who can forget that Arnold Schwarzenegger was a professional bodybuilder and actor before he was governor of California? Just because it’s happened before though, doesn’t mean it should happen again. Trump is evidence of that.

It can’t be that bad, right? If the States can survive Trump, can’t they handle anything? Maybe. Here are a few of the stars we should be keeping an eye on though just in case.

The Rock

Ah, good ol’ Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Who wouldn’t want a president whose nickname is ‘The Rock’? Plus, with a physique like that he could probably just flex the U.S.’s problems away. He announced his run (as a joke) with running-mate, Tom Hanks, on the season finale of SNL a few weeks ago. The stars made some pretty compelling arguments about how they could reassure a nation in crisis, but we’re fairly certain acting experience doesn’t translate perfectly to the real world. The Rock did win in a presidential poll against Trump last month, but that’s not saying much.

Kanye West

We’ve been talking about this one since before Trump was even the Republican presidential candidate. Kanye announced at the 2015 VMAs during his Vanguard award acceptance speech that he intended to run for president in 2020. Since then, he’s supposedly changed that to a 2024 run with a cryptic ‘#2024’ tweet after meeting with then President-Elect Trump. This is probably the one we’re most afraid of.

Mark Zuckerberg

Now here’s one you probably haven’t thought of. It looks like the founder and CEO of Facebook could be gearing up for a presidential run. He’s been fulfilling his New Year’s resolution which was to visit every state he hasn’t spent much time in. Politico PRO reporter, Ted Hesson likened the trip to a listening tour one might go on if one wished to lead the country. We’re slightly more comfortable with Zuckerberg because he built the empire of Facebook, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Americans should trust him with the nuclear codes.

Oprah

You get a tax break, and you get a tax break, everybody gets a tax break! Yes, please. Oprah would be like the best president ever. We take back everything we said about political experience being a prerequisite for running a country. President Oprah for the win! She’s one of the most influential people in the world, can definitely afford to fund a campaign and she’s actually joked about doing it. Make this happen for us, Mama O!
