Cars skidded off roads, thousands of flights were cancelled and weekenders were forced to stay indoors and chill as a major winter snowstorm walloped much of the U.S. East Cost this past weekend. Naturally, many were not impressed. But one fluffy creature couldn’t get enough of the white stuff.
Tian Tian, a giant panda who lives in Washington, D.C.’s Smithsonian National Zoo, woke up to the sight of snow and, well, went kind of crazy.
Of course the zoo tweeted out a video of said craziness…

And, needless to say, it improved the moods of many people:
I can watch Tian Tian all day he’s so cute I could cry

Within hours someone decided they had to one-up Tian Tian’s snow moves (or should we say, grab onto Tian’s viral coattails) by buying a panda costume and imitating the real panda’s reaction to his epic snow day.
We’re not going to lie, the dude’s imitation is pretty spot on–from the rolling around to the spread eagle pose. And people seem to agree as well. Which begs the question…
