Veronica Mars fans might share the same name with a certain ooey, gooey candied food item, but to be honest, we’re total marshmallows when it comes to Veronica herself, a.k.a. Kristen Bell, and Hubby Dax Shepard (Although, admittedly we were pretty pumped for the spinoff). Those two are so freaking amazingly awesome together that we can’t help but get all giddy whenever they’re pictured on screen or in an interview. So obviously when they popped up in a new Samsung ad earlier this week and gave us an inside peek to their daily lives, we pretty much lost our minds.
Our love affair with the couple started long before someone decided to capitalize on it with a ridiculously cute ad, though. For example…
They first hit it off at a hockey game (in their hometown of Detroit). He asked her for a piece of gum, and she pulled the one she was currently chewing out of her mouth and…well the rest is history.
But even though they obviously fell hard for one another, they waited until the Defense of Marriage Act was struck down to actually get hitched. Then SHE proposed to HIM, on Twitter of all places. It was actually kind of sweet.
We chalk it up to the fact that while they’re super cutesy together, they’re also not afraid to share some very real relationship problems they encounter. Like sloths.
And what to watch on television.
We started The Wire for the fifteenth time in four years last night. Really hoping we can get this one to stick. — dax shepard (@daxshepard1) September 12, 2014
Fans are actually so into these two that people have made videos celebrating their coupledom.
And they actually take time out of their schedules to respond to that love.

Truth be told, what’s really endearing about these guys (aside from the way they look at each other)…
…is that they actually like working together.
At the same time, they seem to get how important having their own careers and identities is.
And want the same for their children.
Please boycott magazines that run pics of “celebrity children.” They shouldn’t be punished for who their parents are.

The bottom line? Bell might have played a Princess on Frozen, but in real-life she has clearly found her prince.
Need more of this Bell of the ball? Veronica Mars spinoff Play it Again, Dick is finally available in Canada.
