Cats might be kings of the Internet, but dog permanently scored one for their team when they took over police stations all over the world, unchallenged. Seriously, dogs dominate the cop world and we want to know why cats haven’t been able to break through that glass ceiling. Unfortunately, we’re unable to properly explain why we think our feline friends should be assisting law enforcement so we’ll let five-year-old Eliza take the floor.

The young girl sent a wonderfully worded letter about this very subject to Durham Police in the U.K.

Um, we don’t wanna get people’s hopes up, but there’s a chance. A legitimate chance that police cats could be a real thing. We can’t wait util that day comes.
