He was on it for, like, ten minutes.

Kourtney Kardashian is putting her foot down! During an Instagram Live video with friend and Keeping Up With The Kardashians co-star Sarah Howard on Wednesday, the 40-year-old revealed that she discovered her 10-year-old son, Mason, had created an Instagram account without either her or ex Scott Disick knowing about it. She found out about the illicit account after Mason spilled the beans on Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s relationship status. The Kardashians are no strangers to being front and center in the social media world, but for Kourtney, this was too much. She told her long-time friend that when she learned about Mason’s Instagram status, she made the account ‘private.’ But then the mini-Disick pulled a fast one on his mom, turning it back to ‘public.’ Yeah, that’s a no-no, kiddo.

Kourtney’s concerns are legit: “The thing that really worries me with kids is comments. People can be so mean.” Apparently, Instagram also shares her concerns. The minimum age requirement to open an Instagram account is 13. While she admitted Mason has an iPhone and a computer for school, his social media is limited, and he doesn’t have an iPad or other devices. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t use any social media. With the help of his mom, the eldest Disick kid is TikTok’s newest star, garnering over 2.2M views on his first video (also co-staring his mom). It seems the next generation of Kardashians are getting ready to take over! But TikTok has the same age limit restriction of 13 years old. On the platform’s terms of service, an underage user must have parental or legal guardian consent to open an account, and it seems the concerns Kourtney raised about her 10-year-old using Instagram appear to still be applicable to TikTok. Common Sense Media warns that using the popular platform is, “risky, but it’s still possible for kids to safely use the app with adult supervision.”Thankfully, the mom of three has everything under control, often making cameo appearances in Mason’s videos along with his siblings. And he’s not the only young member of the Kardashians to debut on the popular social media platform. Little cousin North made her first show with mom Kim, and it was beyond cute.

Needless to say, it looks like the oldest Disick is starting to become a personality of his own. But can Kourtney imagine when Penelope (7), Reign (5) and Mason are teenagers? “No,” the mompreneur immediately said. Yeah, neither can we.[video_embed id='1927597']RELATED: Kim and Taylor both respond to that leaked Kanye call[/video_embed]
