The premiere of Avengers: Endgame is just two weeks away and in anticipation, Jimmy Kimmel is dedicating an entire week of his show to the Avengers. Monday night, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Paul Rudd stopped by to NOT talk about the new film (all that is super-duper top secret) and instead reveal a few tidbits about themselves and the previously-released films.

Here’s what we learned from their appearance.

The cast still hasn’t seen the movie (maybe)

Who even knows at this point? According to those present, the cast has allegedly only seen select scenes from the film, although it seems everyone gives a different answer every time they’re asked about it. Chris claims he’s seen it and filmed it on his phone to share on his Instagram naturally and RDJ says he’s having an Easter screening party where he’ll play it on loop (but fast-forward the “dumb stuff” like Scarlet Johansson’s character arc). Chris Evans also mentioned in his recent Hollywood Reporter profile that he cried three times seeing the movie, so maybe none of that is true.

In conclusion, we actually don’t know if anyone has seen it or if the movie even exists at all.

The cast’s best tip for watching the film

With a runtime of three hours and two minutes, Kimmel asked the cast the all-important question: when is the best time to sneak out for a bathroom break? The answer: don’t bring a diaper (or a giant tub of popcorn).

Cool. Thanks, guys.

Mark Ruffalo is afraid of needles

Last May, five of the original six Avengers got matching tattoos to commemorate their dedication to the iconic franchise. While RDJ, Evans, Hemsworth, ScarJo and Jeremy Renner got inked, Mark Ruffalo opted out “at his own peril” according to Downey. At the time, the other cast members thought Ruffalo just didn’t like the tats, but Scarlett said she recently found out he probably had a different reason for not joining the gang.

“He said yesterday that he’s afraid of needles,” ScarJo shared. “He didn’t say that before, it just seemed like he was really judgmental.”

Other (probably not real) tattoos we learned about: Hemsworth has a scratch ‘n’ sniff Paul Rudd tattoo and Rudd has a Dinner for Schmucks tramp stamp.

Paul Rudd fangirled over the Captain America shield

Wouldn’t we all? Rudd admitted that he was awestruck being on the set with the other Avengers for the first time and had a big fangirl moment when he held Captain America’s shield.

“I was standing opposite Chris Evans and he had to run and use the bathroom or something and he asked the prop guy to hold his shield,” Rudd said. “And as he walked off I just went, ‘Can I, can I try it?’ and I took the shield and it was very exciting. It was not dissimilar to what my character was feeling in the scene.”

A kid wrote the funniest line in Thor: Ragnarok

Arguably, the funniest line in the third Thor movie is when Hemsworth looks up at the Hulk and tells an arena of people urging them to fight that, “He’s a friend from work.” Chris revealed that it was actually a child who was visiting set who fed him the line.

“We had a young kid onset who was unwell at the time and had come to visit and we were shooting the scene with Hulk and Thor in the arena,” Hemsworth explained. “It was right when I was talking to Hulk and I was saying ‘Oh my God, it’s you! Where’ve you been?’ and he was on the sideline and he said, ‘Why don’t you say… “He’s a friend from work!”’ and so that line became one of the best lines of the whole thing.”

RDJ will not go on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride again

The Avengers spent a day at Disneyland last week and while Paul and Scarlett recalled having a good time on the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride, Johansson called out Downey for chickening out—though he apparently had a good reason.

“I was [at Disneyland] February 7th for my kid’s birthday, we went on that ride and I almost yacked,” he shared. Fair enough. Hemsworth also shared a personal anecdote to encourage parents not to cheat the system and sneak their small children on the ride. Don’t worry, his daughter is fine now.

The birthday gifts amongst the cast are next level*

Paul Rudd and Robert Downey Jr.’s birthdays are one day apart and ScarJo got RDJ a bouquet of sunflowers—his favourite—for his. Downey then teamed up with Johansson to get Rudd a framed photo of himself riding an alpaca named Denis. Then Paul got Scarlett a hot air balloon and then the two of them got Robert a “super yacht.” Then RDJ reciprocated with the entire Buffalo Bills franchise…

*It’s more than likely none of this actually happened.
