When it comes to makeup, not all brands are created equal – especially not when it comes to the price tag attached to all those pretty little parcels. While some of us prefer to peruse the Sephora aisles for the latest and greatest in contouring and layering, others stick to the tried-and-true brands they’ve been picking up for years at their local drug stores.
Hey, if you feel great what’s the difference anyhow, right?
Well maybe it’s time to throw away those preconceived notions, because you never know when you’re going to come across your next great find. At the little old price of $8 for that.
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves here. Have you heard of the e.l.f. Brush Palette brand of blush? It retails for $6 in the States (roughly $8 here), and is pretty much sold out everywhere now thanks to one little Reddit user who sang the product’s praises on Reddit.
Not so surprisingly, it didn’t take long for fellow makeup aficionados to chime in with their love of the product, leading many to stock up on it or purchase it out of sheer interest. Now, you’d be hard pressed to get a pack in the U.S.
There’s nothing quite like people bonding over their favourite products, is there?
And to think, so many of us would probably look at the price and not think twice about buying it, just because it’s way less expensive than some other brand names out there and therefore comes with a stigma that maybe it isn’t as good of a product.
Well we guess that just goes to show you that you shouldn’t judge a blush by the cover girl. Or something like that.
