Fresh from his royal tour of India and Bhutan, Prince William joined brother Prince Harry on a journey to Ahch-To. We kid. It wasn’t exactly a diplomatic mission to the the planet on which Luke Skywalker has been hiding for years but the royals did visit a galaxy far, far away. OK, we kid again. It was actually nearby, about an hour away from Kensington Palace.

Much like their tour of Warner Bros. Studios three years ago, where the royal bros and Duchess Kate goofed around on the set of Harry Potter, Will and Harry stopped by Pinewood Studios, where the Star Wars team is hard at work on Episode VIII. They got an exclusive tour of the studio with the best tour guide ever: Rey, a.k.a. Daisy Ridley, who put her head in Will’s hands. Literally.

And like the Royal Wand Battle of 2013, Will and Harry got up close and personal with Pinewood’s extensive collection of lightsabers and staged a new battle. And from the look on Harry’s face, you just know he was making that whooshy lightsaber sound. Help us Hot Harry, you’re our only hope.

They also got to see all of the galaxy’s props and costumes, like Rey’s scavenger garb, as well as models of Maz Kanata and Nien Nunb.

Harry got a hug from Chewbacca, and it’s the first time we can honestly say we wish we were a big, hairy beast. For the day, at least.

Finn, er, John Boyega also hung out with Hairy and Harry.

And looks like Prince William made a friend of his own. Kate might be catching up with the kids, but she must be a little bummed to be missing some BB-8 bonding time.

Will and Harry also received a private tour of the Episode VIII film set (lucky!), where they met with Mark Hamill and director Rian Johnson.

Harry in the pilot seat, looking giddy as a schoolboy might be the best thing you’ll see all day.

A great day was had by all!

No, thank YOU, royals for making our day. May the Force be with you both.
