An Instagram model has taken a bully’s body-shaming efforts and turned them to her advantage. The model’s name is @noonie_regardless and as you can see, she’s curvaceous and damn proud of it. In this photo of her posing in a crop top, she goes into her journey towards self love.

Cupcake 🏄🏾‍♀️⚡️ I love my muffin top! It may look gross to you but to me it’s extra art added to my body!

A post shared by ¥ N O O N I E ¥ 🏄🏾‍♀️ (@noonie_regardless) on

Despite the fact that Noonie looks like a major babe in this photo, which oozes confidence, another Instagram user took it upon themselves to take that photo and turn it into a meme meant to shame women with her body type. Fortunately, we don’t really need to feed the troll’s account by reposting the meme, because @noonie_regardless reposted it to her own followers, reclaiming the message and making it stand for acceptance rather than judgement.

That’s worth all the heart, thumbs up and flame emojis, right!? Because of course she’s entitled to wear a crop top or bralette if she wants to — that has absolutely nothing to do with being a “skinny girl.” Her comment nails it, too: “No I don’t have the flat stomach to flex in a crop top/bralette but I have a muffin top to do so…As women we have to learn to build each other up instead of trying to break each other down.”

Believe it. And not just women, either, but men too — everyone!

The young Instagrammer told Yahoo Style that her reason for reposting the meme was to combat the ignorance it portrayed.

“Responding to the cruel meme didn’t make me feel sad because as a person I love myself a lot and I have accepted myself for who I was years back,” she said. “Don’t get me wrong I felt DISGUSTED! I felt this way because bashing people for their size is never okay. Being told ‘leave crop top wearing to us skinny girls,’ is definitely stupidity at it’s best. If crop tops were only made for skinny women they would only make it in a small – not medium, large, xl, etc.”

There’s no room in this world for trolls and body shaming, but what there is room for is more Noonies.
