It’s tough sleeping with a snorer. Earplugs and sound machines can only do so much, but even that’s not enough to drown out the sound of the equivalent of a Boeing 737 at takeoff. In the early stages of a relationship, it can be a deal-breaker, but when you’re years in, you kind of just have to learn to cope.
So that’s what this woman did. Instead of filing for divorce and citing exhaustion due to sleepless nights, she turned to YouTube. In her video, she adorably explains that she started recording her husband’s epic snoring about four years ago. And it clearly wasn’t that hard to do since it looks like he can sleep anywhere. And when he’s out, he’s OUT, whether it’s a deep sleep in bed or napping on a couch, snoozing in a car, dozing at the kitchen table with food nearby or having a siesta outside. It’s clear he needs his beauty rest and based on his impressive mustache, it’s working for him.
His wife enlisted the help of her nephew to edit all her compiled footage to Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee‘s hit, “Despacito.” Except they call their remix, “Ronquidito,” which can be translated in Spanish to “snoring,” and instead of Justin Bieber, this version features the hypnotic sounds of Raúl Amador Márquez.
“Despacito” just became the most streamed song ever, but perhaps “Ronquidito” can give it a run for its money — at least to all those households with snorers in them, who can totally relate.
