It’s no secret that David Beckham’s kids have long been following their own career paths, despite their tender young ages. For soccer fans who were hoping for a whole new generation of bending it like Beckham, this has for sure been somewhat disappointing. However, given the sheer talent his young’uns have displayed so far, we think they’ll be bending “it” in a whole new way in these coming years.

While Brooklyn is killing it with photography and Romeo is already making waves in the fashion world, it turns out that Cruz has developed something of a talent too — in the singing department.

Beckham recently posted a video of his 11-year-old doing a version of “Cups” on Instagram, and we have to say, it’s pretty sweet.

Not only is the kid actually a pretty good singer, but he proves he’s got some great rhythm too when it comes to flipping that cup around.

Of course not everyone loved the video. Piers Morgan, who is always quick to share his opinion in these kinds of situations, was quick to give Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham flack for sharing it in the first place, claiming they want privacy for their kids but then they showcase them in front of billions of people trying to make them famous.

That’s one way of looking at it, we suppose. But if you watch closely, Cruz seems pretty excited and animated to share his feat here, and even looks up at the camera a few times to demonstrate that he’s fully aware of what’s happening. Who knows — maybe posting the video was even his idea.

All we know is that it’s nice to see these kids coming into their own, and to also witness two parents who are doing their best to foster their children’s own interests. And really, isn’t that what it’s all about?

You sing it, Cruz. And watch out Anna Kendrick, he may be coming for you next.
