Welcome back Duggars
In just-what-we-haven’t-been-waiting-for news, the Duggars are coming back to a TV set near you. Well, hopefully not too near you. Unless you like the Duggars, in which case, yay!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jessa and Jill, admittedly our favourite Duggars, will be getting their own specials on TLC. We might be sort of looking forward to Jill’s special, which will follow her family as they they get ready to move to El Salvador for missionary work.
The subject of Jessa’s special is still up in the air, but we can wait.
He They made it!
Anyone betting that George Clooney couldn’t hang on to wife Amal needs to pay up. Because the two just celebrated their one-year anniversary on Sunday. And how did they spend it? Well, the same way they do everything else — looking fabulous together. Oh, and nothing says love like an intimate sushi dinner.
Unlike a year ago, when they married in Venice, the gorgeous couple were at Japanese restaurant Asanebo in Studio City, Calif., two days before their Sept. 27 wedding anniversary. Not exactly Italy but as long as they’re together and happy, who cares? Congrats to the beautiful couple. No, really. Could they be any more in love?
Daniel Radcliffe shaved his head and we’re not sure how to feel about it
So long, Harry Potter. Yes, it’s been four years since he’s played the role of the bespectacled wizard and, yes, he’s done a bunch of roles since but his latest might be a game-changer. Because Daniel Radcliffe no longer looks like Daniel Radcliffe.
The actor posted a new photo of his new character in the upcoming film Imperium and Daniel got a major makeover. And by “major,” we mean someone took a razor and shaved his head. Yep, all his hair — POOF! Gone. Yes, he’s playing an FBI agent going undercover so we get the dramatic change; but it doesn’t mean we have to like it. Or do we? So confused.
Gotham co-stars are really in love, expecting a baby and are planning to get married
If you don’t watch Gotham, then you probably don’t know that Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin play love interests. Well, they’ve taken their love off-screen and are not only expecting a baby together but are planning to get married too. Aw, romantic, right? Er, not so fast. Baccarin, who was previously on Homeland, is in the middle of a nasty divorce with director Austin Chick with whom she shares an almost two-year-old son. TMZ got their grubby little mitts on legal docs which state that Morena got pregnant with Ben’s baby in June, after she separated from Austin. Chick’s arguing that they were still together when she got pregnant and that’s why he filed for divorce. Whatever, says Baccarin, because she’s already got her future mapped out, as stated in the document: “Today, I am in a new committed relationship. I am planning to re-marry. Also, I am 3 1/2 months pregnant.” Yep. This is going to get messy.
Drew Barrymore is taking a break
With news that Elizabeth Banks is going to reboot the Charlie’s Angels franchise, there was that hope that Drew, Cameron and Lucy were going to make an appearance. Maybe Cameron and Lucy but probably not Drew — because she is taking a break from acting. Now that she has two small children, her focus is on them. “My whole universe revolves around my children, and the hours keep me away from them too much,” she told U.K. newspaper The Times in an interview. “I’m not willing to do that.” Barrymore still did the upcoming Miss You Already, even though “the timing was all wrong,” but expect to see a lot less Drew from here on out. “Any acting roles will be few and far between until my kids are older and by then, who knows what I’ll want to do?,” but she made sure to add, “By no means am I abandoning acting. Nor am I pretending that I don’t love acting, but I cannot do it right now, with my children.” Drew has been acting since was five years old so a break seems much-deserved. That doesn’t mean we won’t miss her though.
Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran? Ariana and Coldplay? Suri on stage? Yes, please!
The Global Citizen Festival was on Saturday night in New York City’s Central Park and it was more star-studded than the average year: because Beyoncé was there. But so were so other famous folks. Bey performed for nearly an hour, singing everything from Destiny’s Child throwbacks to current hits like “Love on Top” but she also was able to do “Drunk in Love” but not with hubby Jay Z. Instead, she welcomed Ed Sheeran to the stage.

And it only got crazier when, during Coldplay’s set, Chris Martin brought his kids’ favourite singer out and Ariana Grande performed “Just a Little Bit Of Your Heart” with them. Katie Holmes and daughter Suri appeared on-stage shortly after Sophia Bush and Connie Britton spoke to the crowd, Hugh Jackman had Stephen Colbert on his shoulders and First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden were also in attendance, with the FLOTUS being welcomed to the stage by Queen B herself.
Ahh, just another Saturday night in NYC.
