For those people who hate their current job and would rather be painting their nails, getting boxes of free stuff in the mail and earning a pretty decent salary, the opportunity is now presenting itself.
Nailbox is a British nail polish subscription service, and they’re seeking nail polish testers to try, test and review 50 polishes and accessories every month.
According to their website, the requirements are simple. You need to be “genuinely interested in beauty and nails, have a critical eye, keep up with new fashions and be a trendsetter, have well maintained hands and nails and understand basic photography.”
Finally, a job where you’re paid to keep your nails as perfect and untouched as possible. The description specifically says that the successful candidate must be “prepared to withdraw themselves from any physical labour or household chores which may damage their hands e.g. washing up and gardening,” which means you can tell your family that there’s a reason you’re letting the house go a little. And it’s called bringing home some bacon. NAILed it.
The job is not only flexible, allowing you to work from home around your lifestyle, but it also comes with a £35K ($68K) salary. Sadly, applicants need to be based in the U.K. so that shrinks the hiring pool by millions. Lucky Brits. Sorry, everyone else.
