It’s every Harry Potter fan’s dream to sup in the Great Hall, and for those with enough Muggle money in their coffers, that dream is about to become a potential reality.
Royal Connaught Park, which you’ll recognize as the Great Hall from the first three movies in the Harry Potter series and Dumbledore’s tower office in The Order of the Phoenix, is being renovated into a luxury apartment complex by home developers the Comer Group.
Imagine, having house elves to do the tidying up.
Or, enjoying the weather in the comfort of your own dining room.
Or getting yourself sorted, once and for all. (Not Slytherin, not Slytherin, not Slytherin…)
Unfortunately those are still fictitious, but the space isn’t. The Victorian Gothic style park’s suites will start around $1 million and go as high as $4.5 million, with 28 apartments and townhouses currently listed.
The ex-public school’s 100 acres of Victorian architecture and parkland have provided the set for many other movies including Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life, Hot Fuzz and over 390 more. The firm in charge of renovations has tried to keep as much of the old charm as possible, while updating the community with the likes of gated security, a gym and a pool.
