Beyoncé recently posted a video of her workout routine on Instagram that will have you sweating simply from watching it. We have to ask though: Does that workout look sped up to you, or is this truly how Bey gets such amazing results? Honestly, we can’t be too sure. It is Beyoncé after all.
Considering February is Heart Month, the timing couldn’t be better. Beyoncé is seen doing standing oblique crunches, lunges, jump squats and weighted shadow boxing all set to Survivor’s classic, “Eye of the Tiger.” Whew!
Bey’s video not only ties in with Heart Month but she’s promoting her pal (yeah, we said it) Michelle Obama and her #GimmeFive challenge, which is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the First Lady’s “Let’s Move” campaign. The initiative raises awareness for active, healthy living, more physical activity for children, healthier food in schools and better food labeling.
And Obama gave her stamp of approval on the singer’s workout by regramming Beyonce’s vid and captioning it with: “Double tap if you’re ready to work out with @Beyonce! #GimmeFive of your workout drills (or you’ll disappoint the Beygency).
