Donald Trump wants to “make America great.” But the artist responsible for the image above just wanted to make him a portrait. So, he began as any artist does, with a canvas and supplies. We’ll call the genre of art digital pointillism, as each “pixel” is crafted from a single photograph. Photographs of one thing make up the artist’s “paint.” But what is this one thing? Can you tell? Which muse has taken the artist?
Looking closer, a viewer begins to see peachy hues and sloping peaks. Are these photos of rock formations? No. Are the photos of hardened clay? No. Look again.
An even closer inspection reveals cap-like structures. Could these be types of mushrooms? For example, white button? The answer is no. Perhaps they are pictures of suspension bridges or flag poles, you say to yourself. But those are incorrect guesses, because each pixel in this mosaic portrait is a human penis.
Now, imagine for a second being this artist. You give yourself the task of sourcing 500 pictures of dicks, knowing full well that 500 dicks is not enough. In order to find the correct colouring, angles and curves, the sample size would probably need to be three times the end result. So, congratulations are certainly in order for the artist who carefully combed over all of these penises. We’re sure it’s only a matter of time before Trump realizes someone has made a dick out of him. Or, er, made him out of dicks.
