Canada’s changed a lot over the past few decades.

Since 1980, our population has risen by more than eight million people. That means more houses, buildings, entertainment and international flair. And do you know what comes with all of those things? A kick-ass skyline, that’s what. Strangely though, not every city seems to have adapted quite the same. While some metropolises look completely unrecognizable, others appear to be almost frozen in time. Check out how much (or how little) our country’s major cities have changed:
