We wanted to have more faith in people, we really did.
That’s why when the makers of the darkly comedic game Cards Against Humanity offered a box of bull feces for $6 over Black Friday weekend, we didn’t think there would be any takers. After all, the company made it really clear that this wasn’t a joke, assuring all customers on the purchase page that this was indeed “literal feces, from an actual bull.” Even the game’s co-founder made sure to weigh in:
If you buy the poop expecting it to be something else that’s not poop, you’re actually buying a valuable life lesson for $6.

And seriously, who would actually pay money to have bull$#!&% shipped to their door anyway?
Tens of thousands, that’s who. The product actually sold out in mere hours. But now those people are beginning to receive their orders, and their reactions have been hilarious:
My sister went to order cards against humanity online and bought a box of bullshit and they weren’t kidding ???? pic.twitter.com/6CNNbi6qbD

Well I’ll be damned, @CAH actually did send poop through the mail. I was sure they meant it figuratively. Oh well, at least I got a button.

But if that doesn’t shake your faith in humanity, this certainly will: Many of the cow pies are now being auctioned off on eBay, and people are actually bidding! We just don’t understand people anymore, folks.
You can watch someone unbox their order for the first time above.
