Over the last few years, we’ve gotten to know Chris Hemsworth as that handsome Australian guy with the godly physique. He threw his muscular weight around Hollywood repeatedly as Thor, both in the titular films and The Avengers. His newest role, however, has called for something a little bit lighter, so to speak.

With a 500-calorie-a-day program, which Hemsworth not so happily referred to as the “Lost At Sea diet and training program” on his social media feeds, he’s looking more like Tom Hanks from Castaway than Thor, bench press champion of the universe. Ok, so he still looks incredibly dashing and ripped (much more so than Hanks did), only, in more of a distance runner type way.
