Freddie Mercury said it best: “Talent will out, my dears.”  And who could disagree? If you have the talent, you can’t keep it hidden. It’s going to shine, no matter what you do. And at no time has this been more obvious than the present. With social media, YouTube channels and a slew of other platforms allowing people to share the gifts God, their parents, or years of training and hard work gave them, if you’ve got it in you, there’s a place for you.

The inaugural season of The Launch (premiering Jan 10 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV) offers a platform like no other, promising to deliver “an authentic behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a series of hit songs.” The groundbreaking show will feature some very talented individuals that you’re about to be hearing a lot from. The only question we have is how haven’t we heard of some of these artists already?

Just listen, and get ready to know their names:

Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine

This creative duo already has a handful of music videos up on their YouTube channel, where about 40,000 or so followers have watched them do their thing. After seeing how well-crafted their performances already are, we’re really curious to hear what The Launch‘s mentors have to say.

Victoria Azevedo

More than 15,000 people subscribe to this young lady’s YouTube channel, where she belts out soulful covers that showcase her beautiful voice. Add in another 44,000 Instagram followers and Azevedo is well on her way.

Julia Tomlinson

We promise you haven’t seen an Amy Winehouse cover until you’ve seen Tomlinson’s cover of “Back to Black.” She’s got that deep, unique voice so many other female singers can only covet.

Need more proof? Check out her cover of The Chainsmokers’ “Closer.” So, so good.

Ethan Young

This young Toronto-based artist has been performing for a long time, despite his youthful glow. Don’t let the youthful face fool you though — this kid has amazing voice control, as showcased in this Shawn Mendes cover. We want more, more, more!

Chad Price

This London, Ont. native has been performing all over North America, giving him a reputation as an “artist to watch.” Given some of the covers we’ve seen on his official YouTube channel we can see why: this guy has a voice like butter. And we want to melt into it all. day. long.

Want to hear more amazing artists on the verge of stardom? Tune into the premiere of The Launch on Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV.
