Has somebody got a case of the Mondays? Ok, ok, who doesn’t. And who the heck ever came up with that annoying saying in the first place? Cliches aside, the start of your work week just got so much better thanks to the one and only Grumpy Cat.
The official trailer for Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever was released over the weekend and even though it’s cheesy viewing at its best, we can’t stop watching it.
In the minute-long trailer we’re reminded that the holidays are indeed right around the corner, when a little girl (Megan Charpentier, Mama) makes a Christmas wish for a “friend on whom she can depend.” As these things tend to go, the universe then plays a cruel trick on her and hands her Grumpy Cat instead, as voiced by Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation).
Yep you read that right: Grumpy Cat speaks. And in order to help move the narrative along, the little girl can actually understand her. Hilarity ensues.
Also, prior to this, did anyone else just assume Grumpy Cat was a boy?
But we digress. Watch the trailer. It will make your Monday that much better. After all, nothing brightens your mood than knowing someone else is grumpier than you.
