We’re about to make your day*. You ready? Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are close to signing a deal that would have them co-starring in another movie together. Squeeeeee!

The two are magnetic and magical on their own but together? Perfection. You loved his abs and her charm in Crazy, Stupid, Love and they made the most delightfully captivating pair, so much so that we wanted them to fall madly in crazy, stupid love in real life. (Sorry, Eva Mendes.)

Then they went and made Gangster Squad, which, well, if you saw it, you may have forgotten about. But their third film looks to be much more promising.

La La Land has been in development for some time but Deadline reports that original stars Emma Watson and Miles Teller have moved on. And now Gosling and Stone are “working to make this happen.”

Described as a cross between The Graduate and Boogie Nights SET TO MUSIC, the story follows a couple — actress Mia and jazz pianist Sebastian — as they try to keep their relationship together in the cutthroat city of L.A.

“It’s gonna be this MGM-style film with big song and dance numbers,” director Damien Chazelle told Deadline last fall.

Emma’s already proved she’s got one hell of a voice.

We know Ryan can dance. He told us so.

Now they’re going to make beautiful music together? It’s all our dreams realized in one movie.

*Unless he continues to look like this, then, uh, maybe not so much thanks.
