The formerly portly Zach Galifianakis revealed a remarkable weight loss at the New York Film Festival; Zach is set to appear in the upcoming “Birdman” in which he’s starring alongside Michael Keaton. Mostly known for his comedic turn in movies such as The Hangover and Due Date, he’s apparently lost what looks to be between thirty and sixty pounds. Nice going, man! And how did he lose all that weight? According to the man himself, he told one reporter he’s dying (don’t worry — he was just joking). When he was complimented on his suit, he reportedly replied “Thank you, it’s a ladies’ [size] 50.” Hilarity, eh?

Weight loss worked for Chris Pratt, who lost sixty pounds and scored one of the year’s biggest hits with Guardians Of The Galaxy. Perhaps Zach will have the same luck. Here’s some movies we think he’d be perfect for his new look.

Iron Man: If Robert Downey Jr isn’t going to play Tony Stark anymore, why not Zach? Who else would be better to play an eccentric, gregarious millionaire?

Gone Girl: True, Ben Affleck was born to play the part of the media-savvy could-be wife-murderer. But what if he wasn’t? What if the part had instead gone to the same guy who played a pug-loving sweater-wearing small town American politician? That would’ve made it a much better movie, we think.

Transformers: Mark Wahlberg? Old news. Zach G.? Clearly who audiences want to see running around and jumping and fighting giant bad robots.

Fury: Here’s the best pitch you’ll ever hear…Brad Pitt and Zach Galifianakis fight Nazis. Tada. Now everyone give me $15 a ticket. You’re welcome.

The Grand Budapest Hotel: Actually, a Wes Anderson collab with Zach would be great. That’s something we’d love to see.
