We all know that the Internet can be a cruel, cruel place. Between the faceless commentators, the meme-posting passerbys and those whose main mission seems to just be spreading hate, there are plenty of reasons to avoid the comments section.

Except sometimes that same hate can actually result in something wonderful, as was the case for a woman on Twitter recently. And it gives us all hope.

A user known as “Honey Dip” was probably feeling a little down on herself when one troll took her to task for posting snapchat-filtered posts of herself. The user (who has since taken the comments down) basically said to never trust a woman posting face shots, since they don’t tell the whole story (as in, the person was body-shaming Honey Dip).

Luckily Zendaya just so happened upon the post and refused to sit silently by. Not only did she post about how beautiful the woman is, but she took it once step further and even offered her a modelling contract for her new line, Daya by Zendaya.

What’s even cooler was that the Internet was more than great about helping Zendaya find the woman, and things started unrolling pretty quickly from there. Because as it turns out, plus-size modelling has been an ambition of the woman’s for a while now.

If you ask us, she certainly has the look for it.

Obviously we have all kinds of love for this. Not only is it a great example of women building back up other women, but it’s young women to boot (Zendaya is only 20 years old).

The moral of this story? Haters gonna hate, but Zendaya — along with the good people still hanging around the Internet — have your back.
