Much has been said about the realness of Shawn Mendes' and Camila Cabello's relationship but three months after they released their steamy "Señorita" video and were spotted k-i-s-s-i-n-g everywhere and Shawmila is still a thing. So is it really all about promotion?Sure, Mendes just wrapped the North American leg of his tour in Toronto, and heads to Asia in a couple weeks to kickstart the rest of it, and Cabello recently released a couple of singles and the accompanying video for "Liar" dropped Wednesday, so they do have content to publicize. And while fans have generally been eating up their PDAs, there's one thing about the couple that people are not loving: their seemingly awkward kisses. But turns out, these two are out here, ready to prove that not only are they the real deal but are also in on the joke.

While in Mexico, Shawn and Camila decided to share a video of how they really kiss and, well, if you thought it was clumsy before, just wait until you see them go at it. "So we saw on Twitter, and stuff, you guys saying stuff about the way we were kissing, and how it looks weird, like we kiss like fish," the "If I Can't Have You" singer started the video, and Cabello chimed in, "Yeah, it really hurt our feelings." Before they went in for the kiss, Mendes tried to prepare us for what was about to happen by explaining, "We just want to show you how we really kiss." And let's just say there isn't enough bleach in the world to pour into our eyes. It's a lot of tongue and slobbering and completely silly as the "Havana" singer broke into laughter just before they ended the video. You may also notice a small bar's worth of bottles visible in the background. The vid, which was posted on Shawn's Instagram and already has over 11 million views, did not make the Internet happy. The loved-up duo were first seen laying on the PDA super-thick during the Fourth of July weekend, less than two weeks after their collaboration was released, and stole the show with their VMAs performance. Mendes only recently confirmed he was in a relationship but didn't explain further and now we know why. And if that's how they're going to keep proving they're genuinely together, we don't need to see anymore. We believe you, Shawmila!
