By now, we know you're not sleeping on Schitt’s Creek, and neither are our friends south of the border (and even farther south than that). It turns out that not only do the Americans love the heartwarming and hilarious Canadian show, the rest of the world does too. Including one Nicole Kidman. Gasp!At the Critics' Choice Awards Sunday night, the little show that could was nominated for five Critics Choice Awards (including nods for Dan Lavy, his old man Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara). While they didn't end up taking home any hardware, it would seem they had an experience that was just as meaningful than  fancy statues. On the blue carpet on the way into the show, Nicole just happened to bump into the cast—including Dan and Sarah Levy, Annie Murphy, Emily Hampshire and Noah Reid—and suddenly the whole gang was chatting, laughing, and posing for the paps with their arms around one another. We'll have to double check, but according to our records, Nicole being a Schitt's Creek fan might actually make her eligible for Canadian citizenship. What can you do? Rules are rules. In the video, you can see Nicole, decked out in a strapless Armani Prive gown, having a quick exchange with Dan Levy as he runs to her side to pose for photos. There’s no audio, but whatever he says makes her break out into giggles as she puts her arms around the cast. Nicole and Dan being BFFs is the 2020 mood we were going for. The chemistry is palpable. There’s gotta be movie potential here; perhaps Dans of Thunder? Moulevy Rouge? Hollywood, take note.Dan it seems is still glowing from this exchange, as he has tweeted a bunch about it, including the above gem where he mentions that this exchange may have in fact changed his life forever. Woah.[video_embed id='1873687']The ‘Schitt’s Creek’ cast guest hosted ‘Ellen’[/video_embed]Dan and the cast are still riding a high wave this week after guest-hosting the Ellen DeGeneres Show together and showing just what a great family dynamic they have on and off the air. Although the cast went home empty-handed, there was a great moment when Kelly Clarkson, who was presenting the Actor in a Comedy Series award, gave a massive shout-out to Eugene before announcing the winner was... somebody else. Hey, it’s all love![video_embed id='1874684']Here are the nominees for the 92nd Academy Awards[/video_embed]
