The neon colours, big hair, shiny spandex, leg warmers, headbands and fanny packs — a tribute to arguably the most memorable decade, style-wise, and much of which we can see on the streets nowadays.Jonathan kept his birthday wishes to his girlfriend a little more modern and a lot more lovey-dovey — just how we like these two. Daddy issues

It was never going to be easy for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, this unprecedented move within — and transitioning from — the British Royal Family. The heat was expected, from the haters who judge every step they take and every word they utter, to even some of their biggest fans. But over the weekend, the Queen issued what should've been the final say — that the Sussexes have her blessing, the rest of the royals are behind them, and their wish for a happier, more independent life is understood and supported.Harry also got deeply personal with words of his own, which was in line with what Her Majesty said. Yet that hasn't stopped the speculation and the not-so-nice stuff from pouring in. Take Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, for example, and what he had to say about his daughter and the son-in-law he's never met."It's kind of embarrassing to me," Markle told Alaska TV/Channel 5, via the BBC. "When they got married they took on an obligation, and the obligation is to be part of the royals and to represent the royals and it would be foolish for them not to." This from the guy who had that paparazzi scandal days before the royal wedding, the same guy who ditched said wedding at the last minute, leaving everyone scrambling, the same guy who has constantly talked about his daughter to the press, sharing personal photos and information, like it's no big deal. The SAME GUY who could be going up against Meghan in court. Honestly.Oh, and Thomas wasn't done. "This is, like, one of the greatest, long-living institutions ever," he continued. "They're destroying it. They're cheapening it ... turning it into a Walmart with a crown on it." What does that even mean??But Thomas is no fool — in the sense that he knows with this interview, the likelihood of him hearing from Meghan or Harry again are slim to never, meaning even though he knows they might not be in contact ever again, he's at peace with that. Because he just keeps on talking. "I can't see her reaching out to me, especially now, in light of what I'm saying now, she probably won't. Or Harry, for that matter. But here again, I think both of them are turning into lost souls at this point. I don't know what they're looking for. I don't think they know what they’re looking for."Hmm. A more peaceful life that isn't plagued with horrible, horrible lies constantly being said about them. And if that meant walking away, for the sake of their family, they did what they had to do. Bottom line. End of story. Why can't Markle and the other skeptics (to put it so, so mildly) see that?

A few weeks ago, former POTUS Barack Obama, gave the world his year-end lists of his favourite movies and shows, and the man seriously has fun, amazing taste. Speaking of which, his wife, Michelle, followed suit with a playlist of her own.In an effort to help others stick to their New Year's resolutions (which typically centre on people want to get healthy/healthier), Michelle wanted to "offer a little inspiration" — by sharing the songs she listens to that give her that "extra boost" needed to get her through even the toughest of workouts.

For three years, Rihanna had love on the brain — but she and Hassan Jameel are taking a bow. Has Rihanna already moved on?

Look, if Rihanna wants to reunite with one of her ex-boyfriends, we can all agree that anyone but Breezy, right? Their history is a storied one, and one that many of us hope won't be repeated. For a third time. Drake is obviously our first choice if she's going to start things up against with an ex but on Friday, the Ocean's 8 star was seen goofing around backstage at the 2020 Yams Day Benefit Concert with another former beau: A$AP Rocky.

TBH, they actually just look like friends having a good time. E! also pointed out that Drake happened to be at the show too, and he and Rocky hung out. But the real question — did Drake and Rih?Rihanna was first linked to Rocky in 2013, while filming the video for their song, "Fashion Killa." Drake and Rih's history, on the other hand, goes way back. While Drake has admitted to being in love with Rihanna since he was 22 years old, we don't reallllly know if they actually dated or if they didn't and they simply know how to make music magic together.If Rihanna and Hassan are for sure done, perhaps she'll enjoy this time of being single.
